The OES team was conducting a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment at a location in Northcentral Oklahoma when we discovered something completely unexpected in an abandoned public swimming pool that had been filled in with dirt and paved over.

A 6,000-gallon petroleum storage tank had been placed in this community pool (pictured above) decades ago and still contained petroleum sludge. The OES environmental team properly removed and disposed of the hazardous material and tank and are actively remediating and restoring the site.

Oklahoma Environmental Services can properly remove and dispose of the tank in accordance with Oklahoma Corporate Commission regulations and ensure all necessary remediation and site closure is handled quickly and affordably.
